The Bike Box is a collaboration between BSBC and the Community Place-making Engagement Network (CPEN) to bring free bike repairs and maintenance classes to the Newhallville neighborhood.

A grant from the city’s Neighborhood Equity & Opportunity Challenge (NEOC) program is funding the establishment of the Bike Box, which is located in the Newhallville Learning Corridor–on the corner of Hazel St. and Shelton Ave., right off the Farmington Canal Trail (across the street from the exercise equipment). This will be a permanent, satellite bicycle repair co-op where we can offer BSBC services outside of East Rock.
