Monday: 4pm-8pm (Volunteer Only)
Tuesday: 4pm-8pm
Thursday: 4pm-8pm
We have multiple sets of tools, repair stands, and bins of used parts. You are encouraged to try stuff out, make mistakes, and work with volunteers to solve problems.
To work on your bike, you need to get a membership to the Co-op. You can sign up here online for a membership, or buy it when you come into the shop.
The Bradley Street Bicycle Co-op continues to operate today largely through the efforts of our amazing volunteers. If you can fix a flat (or even if you just want to learn) you can help us out. Volunteers get a free membership to the Co-op, veto power on the music, a chance to become better bike mechanics, and endless love. And sometimes cookies. If you are interested in volunteering for our recycling program, come down during Open Shop Hours and introduce yourself and we will help you get started! You can sign up for our Volunteer Newsletter here!
Our bikes are all donated to us and then all tuned up and inspected by professional mechanics. We have lots of bikes for all sizes and style preferences. If there are any problems within 30 days, bring it back to us and we will fix it for free!
Every used bike you buy from us supports our recycling program; you are helping get bikes to refugees, mental health patients, veterans, homeless, and kids who cannot afford them. The money raised ensures that we remain a sustainable organization, able to cover the costs of our programs, including transporting bikes, buying new tools for our volunteer shop, paying our small staff, and more. Beyond that, you also help us support our primary mission – to get people on bikes!
Most of our bikes are $250-$350. We also have new u-locks, lights, accessories for sale in addition to our $5 used parts bins.
Bring it down during shop hours! We will take anything, regardless of condition. We prefer adult bikes, but will not turn away kids bikes in good condition. We can usually find anything a good home!
We have a work table and a bunch of chairs so you and grab a seat, enjoy the wifi, check out our Instagram (@bsbcco), request some music, make some coffee, and enjoy the space. And keep track of news and events on Facebook!
All people are expected to treat everyone in the BSBC community—regardless of their race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age—with respect, and without judgment or bias.
